The competitors for next weekend’s NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Midwest Regional at U.S. Bank Arena were announced today. Cincinnati will welcome University of Denver, Union College, Penn State University, and Michigan Technological University as they battle for a spot in this year’s Frozen Four.

The University of Denver enters post season play as the #1 overall seed. Number one seed in the regional Denver will take on Michigan Tech at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 25 before Union takes on Penn State at 4:30pm. The winners of these games will play on Sunday, March 27 at 6:00pm. The NCAA Division I Men’s Hockey Midwest Regional at U.S. Bank Arena will be hosted by Miami University in conjunction with the Greater Cincinnati Sports Corp and Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau.
